What if no cellular?

Given the technology that is in the Air, is there any impact of not being connected to the www? Here in northern Arizona there will be times when I may not have Wi-Fi nor cellular for a few days. Does Air require cellular connectivity to perform any of its standard functions?

None other than music. You can use Bluetooth to play music from your phone (or other Bluetooth device) but won’t be able to stream Spotify, Alexa, etc. natively without cellular.

You can download maps for offline use, and I’ve used that a number of times when I had no cell service. It takes a little longer to load (probably waits for cellular to time out) but works perfectly fine. You just don’t get traffic adjustments/info.

Also, obviously, Alexa doesn’t work without cellular.
