Trunk closure and tightness...

I know that some easy cars has issues with trunk seal, but wonder if mine is too tight... I already have a wear line in paint on top of lip where it must impact with the lid on lockdown..My car is only a month old. I will take this up with Lucid service but wondering if others have noticed anything similar

See line on top of bumper.. Similar chalky edge on trunk lip above (under latch). I assume the auto latch mechanism or trunk stops need adjustment. It is not a big deal but curious if its a common issue...

@Alex and I think @hmp10 had this issue early on but it's not been an issue in a long time.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I have this issue now.

Did anyone take this up with service and how did they rectify? for me, i just got my 2023 AT in March this year, but i'm guessing I have an earlier build based on comments a tech made about my rear deck lid.

could use some info about how its been handling previously before I approach my service guy

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I have this issue now.

1. You can find your build bate on a sticker at the forward edge of the driver’s door jamb.
2. You should contact service about the issue depicted in the photo.

This is not a major issue... Lucid service should be able to adjust trunk closure to relieve pressure on upper bumper. Not sure it relates to production date.

Personally, I would expect them to fix the lid, but replace the bumper cover. i'll know soon. about to call my service center

It may polish out... doing paint match on replacement bumper might not be as good as the factory painted bumper cover

so mine is 12/22. curious that it sat for 14 months before getting sold (i picked up mar 2024). maybe just wasn't popular where it went to. i think it was in florida before i bought it and had it come up to natick
