2.1.3 Update

Nobody knows.
I am used to the waiting game. My spouse's Tesla has FSD so her OTAs are always later than the vehicles without FSD. The FSD vehicles do get FSD OTAs fairly often. I was hoping to take the GT from Tucson to Vail this summer, but spouse is nervous about the long trip with the Lucid. We will take Lucid GT to Phoenix a couple of times this year though. She is confident in Scottsdale Service Center and plant in Casa Grande being fairly close.
Me, I want the thrill of driving the GT on this route...it has everything you need to experience, and I believe the GT would definitely be great driving this route. So, I have two weeks to convince her, but our past Lucid "hiccups" have soured her on the reliability of the Air GT. Not much since the latest OTA but pretty consistent prior to 2.0. To my disadvantage, her Tesla has not experienced many of the forementioned problems like "phantom braking" and her service has been exemplary. Plus, a large SC right here in Tucson.
In my favor, she loves the Lucid ride and interior and plans to trade Tesla for a Gravity (or Volvo EX90 if they upgrade battery for better range.)

Damn…I’m starting a drive from San Diego CA to Denver CO on Tuesday morning. I don’t think I want to install this update, not when I’m about to embark on a 2200 mile, week long road trip.
Honestly, given the Turtle Mode I got immediately after installing 2.1.3 (but with no prior issues of concern), I would enjoy the drive and do the upgrade when I safely return home. I am now 3 days down with no prognosis.

It totally sucks that you were experiencing that. I hope they get it fixed soon. That said, you are literally the only one that we have seen have this problem after most recent update. They should not be extrapolated to mean that there will be widespread problems.

Is the update 2.1.3 only for early testers? I would get the previous updates within 1 or 2 days.

I think 2.1.3 just started rolling out only 2 days ago and since it is weekend, they may want to pause a bit or go slow to minimize service calls.

Agreed. Only reporting my experience.

I'm getting super antsy waiting for the update to hit....I check my phone app 5 times a day ....hope it hits over the work week soon!

Still haven’t gotten 2.1.2 nor 2.1.3, maybe there is possible batch for 2.1.4?

I’m hoping it hits soon. Would like to have it before I leave for a long trip. Otherwise it won’t be installed until I get back in a month. I won’t install it in the middle of the trip.

It is a huge 5GB update and it may take a week for everyone to get it. However 2.0.71 is very stable and so is 2.0.68. Let them slowly do it. Best not to contact CS

Me either. Or if I do I want to be withing spitting distance of a Lucid Service Centre.

Soft reset, no cigar. Did the 'brake while press/holding the Air logo" reset. No change.
Just haul off to SC.
The Air logo reset or any other reset will not fix turtle mode or drive system faults. It is recommended that you contact your service center.

A week from last week Thursday? When was it first released?

Since downloading 2.1.3 three days ago, I've found the birds-eye-view is malfunctioning about half the time, and the rear view in the upper screen is also sporadically malfunctioning, though less frequently. I've parked the car while we are in restaurants long enough for the system to reset, and I've also rebooted the infotainment screens using the "Air" logo reset method, to no avail. Here's what I'm seeing:

I got this after updating to .71.
I did the Air logo reset first, but it didn't work. Service then advised me to do the lock car, walk away for 5 min, & come back reset and that fixed it.

I talked to the Riviera Beach Service Center this morning. The Service Advisor recommended against trying the "nuclear" reset and was going to send a mobile tech out to assess the situation. However, she called a short while later to say the Service Manager thought the car needed to be brought in to the Service Center, so they're picking it up next Monday to haul it across the state . . . again.

Going to dinner this evening, the blind spot cameras that display when the turn signals are engaged also failed. The backup camera on the top glass cockpit display is now also showing "Unavailable" more frequently, and when it does display, the image looks a bit washed out, and there are two red horizontal lines across the image that weren't there before.

Due to Lucid's undertaking the expense to transport the car to a Service Center instead of sending out a mobile tech, I get the feeling that they've seen this problem before and already suspect what's going on.

All the best.... hope it is solved very soon!

Just downloaded 2.1.3, it appeared ready for install while car was in process of charging. After installed, car was paused in forever charging state in loud BMS fan. I unplugged to stop charging, will take a for a spin to test 2.1.3 tomorrow.
