I just updated my GT this morning and have been looking forward to setting up Car Play. The instructions say to look for the car play symbol in connections next to my iPhone name, but nothing shows up. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks- I had done that before, but I just went out and the screen popped up. It looks fantasticLook at your phone not your car
Thanks - correct, I'm new to Car PlayAlso if you have never used Car Play, need to unpair your phone and repair it via bluetooth and it will pop up on the screen as per the directions sent with the update
Interesting. Mine appears normal, did this correct itself? Or a reset maybe?I had to delete my phone and reinstall it for CarPlay to work. However, the CarPlay is not sized properly as it is larger than the screen so the apps are cut off.

Sandvinsd is on an old iOS with an older version of CarPlay. I will be interested to see what Lucid has to say about support.Interesting. Mine appears normal, did this correct itself? Or a reset maybe?

disconnect your iphone from your car then reconnect; it should ask you to connect to Apple Play...I just updated my GT this morning and have been looking forward to setting up Car Play. Nope. Not at the moment. Who knows if Lucid/Apple will allow in the futureI think I know the answer to this, but I’m curious if there is a way to get the CarPlay display off the pilot panel and down to the center console tablet.

It’s a bad idea, from a user interface perspective. The lower screen is not meant to be a major source of information or interactivity while driving. It’s way too low and forces you to take your eyes much further off the road than the cockpit panels do.I think I know the answer to this, but I’m curious if there is a way to get the CarPlay display off the pilot panel and down to the center console tablet.
I have a video on YouTube that addresses music quality with CarPlay versus other sources.I love the new update with Apple Play. I'm not an audiophile, but I really feel that music played on Apple Play sounds better than the Bluetooth music I was playing.
