Lucid’s opportunity to create brand ambassadors

I’ve only had my car 4 months. Just saying.
OK. I will consider all the AGT folks to be brand ambassadors :D You all lived through UX 1.0 and made the life much easier for the late adopters like me. 🙏 🙏 🙏

You keep popping up in these threads like the gopher in Caddyshack 🤣

Many of us were obsessed before we bought the car and still are. Are you going to do that? If so you might be able to be a brand ambassador
Sis!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

Let’s see once I get my stealth :) but lot of other external factors there is kinda recession out there.
Boy! Don't you know when to quit talking just for the sake of talking? It is really getting ridiculous to see your posts about the car.

Why do people put so much emphasis on free charging? It's barely anything in the scheme of things and no one was expecting free gas before?
Because it's free, marketing psychology.

I still don't think that you will be taken seriously as a brand ambassador till you actually own the car and let your luxury car owner friends drive it. I would tone it down if I were you. You can talk about Lucid as an investor if you really believe in Lucid that much and actually bought the stock. Then call yourself a Lucid Bull but not a brand ambassador. With just 2 months of ownership and about 1k miles, I don't even want to call myself a brand ambassador. That privilege belongs to the DE and some AGT owners who had the car for 1 year and several thousand miles. I am a Lucid Bull and a Lucid fan. I have several thousand shares.
I've owned my AGT 5 months and out of that I have been out of town 4.5 weeks leaving the AGT idle during that time, the car is my DD and it has 5,630 tough Chicagoland suburban/urban miles on it.
I am without question a brand ambassador as I'm frequently asked about the car, and I am happy to give the inquiring an exhilirating sprint launch and or a pulse raising 60 mph shot to triple digits as they admire the beauty of the interior while getting a massage.

And you too suffered through UX 1.0 and made life much easier for me. 🙏 🙏 🙏

I guess I can be vocal and say that even the Base Pure AWD DDp is a great deal!

I bought the car eyes wide open having joined this forum in early January 2022 and then not throwing the g note down until late March of 22. I then could have said to hell with the $1,000.00 when I got the call in mid September that car was ready for delivery, I am truly glad that I proceeded with the purchase.

I fall in love with my car all over again with every single drive!

I explained several weeks ago that I planned to let my Tesla driving neighborhood know about this car and my corner lot house was in a perfect location to do this. So I gently "cut off" one of my Telsa neighbors yesterday afternoon pulling out of my driveway so they could get a real good look at Chameleon. I also drove under the speed limit to make sure of this.

When I got to work 20 minutes later, I exited the car but made sure to backtrack towards some random dude who had just walked past me, didn't give me the time of day, but saw Chameleon a few feet away and stopped dead in his tracks! I made it a point to turn back towards him staring at MY car to ask him if he wanted to take a closer look? Yeah, he wasn't expecting for ME to be the owner of that car! His red face and goofy surprised look was a dead giveaway. I'm such a menace! 😂

I think I'd make a perfect Brand Ambassador. I don't fit the mold but, I can tell curious potential buyers anything they want to know about Lucid and our cars.

900 miles since 12/30 and not a single show stopper or a single day of down time. I can absolutely say that even base pure RWD is likely to be far better than the 98 Lexus ls400 RWD I owned for 14yrs 145k miles and the 2006 Lexus ls430 I still own at 93k miles. I do think that 10k for ddp is worth it if it prevents just 1 accident. My being vocal will be limited to Pure. I cannot speak about Touring and above. That said I do mention that the real range is 20% less than the advertised epa range of 415 miles on my pure awd.

I was at Scottsdale SC today and did some bantering with the local Lucid folks.
We discussed the brand awareness issue and it was mentioned that perhaps Lucid really doesn't want to open the spigot just yet because of the limited capacity of the infrastructure.
But they did have a fleet for the media at the Super Bowl, and some other big events.
Trivial factoid: a Discount Tires executive recently told me that DT and Pirelli have been working together on developing all-season EV tires, but don't expect anything from this collaboration until at least 2024. For Pirelli as well as other brands, Europe likely will see these tires before we do.

Not to brag, but Pop and I are both UX 1.0 veterans and have been known to draw a crowd when we show up. 😂

Great duo, great shot, great cars. Red and black, or two reds?
Agreed! It looks like two Zenith Red to me. I zoomed in on both bumpers and they are Red. Best damned color in the fleet but I'm completely biased! That color shifting is on full display in this photo!!

I've said it once and I'll say it again, Lucid's paint process engineers were in their Bag (of tricks) with their Zenith Red mastery!

Maybe it’s a hot take but Lucid needs everyone that is a fan of it to be ambassador so that word flies.

Also 14k units in 23 the high target of lucid implies 25% of the market share in the US which is a lot compared to about 12% market share lucid took in 22. That is why they delayed the expansion as reported in the earnings release. They can ramp up if the luxury ice sedan buyers suddenly decide to buy luxury ev sedan.

They'll be shipping globally, so they aren't intending to take 25% market share in the US.

Is the marker Luxury ev or what exactly is market being defined as ?

Yes. I think 10k us and 4k abroad in 23. 10k would still be about 16% of the likely us market size for luxury ev sedans priced above 100k. Model s 100, plaid, Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, lucid. Other than the price point I don't see tesla as a luxury compared to the rest. The interior, fit and finish are not the same class as the others.

Seen in this light, Lucid is not doing too badly.
25% is huge in my book, considering the context and all the extenuating circumstances.
But, of course, I'm biased.

Lucid is using the luxury EV sport sedan market niche to establish its engineering and manufacturing bona fides. It's future as a carmaker will rest on the wider-market cars that are coming: the Gravity SUV and smaller, less expensive sedans.

Naples, FL is a luxury car market on the order of Beverly Hills. This relatively small town has Rolls, Bentley, Aston, and Ferrari dealerships, all of whose wares are routinely seen on the streets here.

This is highly anecdotal, but we have identified at least seven different Lucid Airs on the roadways here but seen only five Porsche Taycans and three MB EQS'. (We've had more than seven Lucid sightings, but we couldn't be sure some of them weren't cars we'd already seen.) If you define Lucid's marketing niche as luxury EV sedans, I tend to believe Lucid is capturing a fair share of that market.

Once we even parked our red Lucid Air behind another red Lucid Air in a restaurant parking lot:
