Why not drop price of Air instead of "Air Credit" on invoice?

No difference on insurance. Payout is replacement cost not acquisition cost (yes first year maybe higher, but not after that). Not sure how states with "value"based fees operate, since I don't live in one.
That's not always true; some insurance plans, like mine with PURE, are "agreed value" insurance, rather than "actual cash value," and thus they may insure the MSRP without the discounts, as the replacement cost may change and you could argue for them to insure it at the higher value in case the discounts go away.

Wish I was UHNW…

Yeah I am confused about why not change insurance. My Honda Cr-V is worth 1/6th of my Lucid and yet its insurance is 2/3 the cost. MSRP isn't a factor in the insurance cost from what I see.
I think they factor in how often the car is stolen. Honda CR-V is one of the most commonly stolen cars in the US. I bet Lucid isn't.

That works even in more favor for the EV....I suppose I could stash an airtag in the CR-V so I can track it on an app like the Lucid....I don't think that State Farm would lower my rates then.
