Hi. I am interested in the Lucid you have posted. You can text me at 714-293-5839. Im in so cal.
Frustrated. Looking for how to link a new fob to my Lucid AIr without a two hour drive into San Francisco.
Hi ARC205 - There's a Gravity 7 seater listed at Longs Cadillac in Southborough, Mass. Might be worthwhile looking there...
I'm very interested in your Gravity. I'm hoping we might come to some mutual agreement re. remuneration - I can promise it a good home here in upstate New York -

Hello! I am working on my Gravity audio upgrade which also has two 12v batteries. I looked through your journey and I didnt see what I was looking for; is there a special process to disconnect one of the 12v batteries? Do you need to pull the High Voltage loop at all? Do you need to let the car fully power down before disconnecting the negative terminal? Was there any trouble or process starting the car back up?

They put the two 12v batteries in the front of the Gravity. I was hoping for one in the back to make running the main power easier.

For the Air, the batteries were wired in parallel so just tapping one of them was fine (the one in the trunk). That said I'm not sure how the gravity's low voltage bus is setup - if it's the same or something else. You should not have to touch high voltage at all though, everything low voltage should be behind the voltage converter for safety reasons.

That's too bad they are in the front though.

As far as pulling the negative terminal, I've done it myself without any special preparation, but given that the other battery was still looped in, I don't think the car ever powered down. That said take what I said with a grain of salt since I didn't do the install myself. (Are you looking to do it yourself?)

Ah thank you, I thought you did the installation. Yeah I'm tackling it myself. I've done a few installs but never on an EV. Thanks again!

Are you replacing drivers or just adding a sub out of curiosity?
Two Years and two tires.

For my first EV I ordered a Red 2024 GT fully loaded. Since I was not sure I would like the EV world I selected the 18 month lease. In short, the car has been virtually flawless and the Denver service team has been excellent. I was among the first to discover the flaw in the Lucid supplied aftermarket mats and alerted this group to the danger of a stuck full open throttle. Fortunately, I cleared it quickly and Lucid issued the recall and bought back the mats. Living in Denver I bought the snow wheel and tire package as Lucy is my ski car. We have been through two winters with some snowy roads the first winter and very little this last one. The car performs well in the snow although I would like the option to raise the ride height.
My ‘26 Pure updated on its own, and I’ve had no glitches or malfunctions. I am very saddened to see so many malfunctions and can only hope that the software team has been brought up to and held to a much higher standard and an analysis is ongoing as to why (hardware or software) continues to produce substandard results. I hate feeling that I’m a unicorn with no problems. The drive, suspension, braking and transmission experience is Bentley class, I love driving this Auto.
Hey thanks for the quick reply. So rims and tires or are you also including the tpms sensors? I am just contemplating between yours and another seller from Toronto. Are you able to check the wheels stamped markings or part label inside the barrel to see the manufacturing location (made in USA, Germany and etc). The reason I ask is we get absolutely hosed on extra fees due to customs , provincial tax and most notably the retaliatory tax as a result of current economy rift between Canada and USA.

FYI, i suck at navigating through this site and was trying to DM you with this before but didn't work. Hopefully this message gets to your handle.

Totally makes sense. Let me know if your brother is interested in selling a set of rims/wheels. I have the 19s but am looking for the 21s or 20s so I can put summer tires on. If he lives or ships from Canada it will be much easier for me. Thanks for the suggestion btw

Frankly I'm not sure. I thought I joined it, but their threads don't update. Wish I knew the answer.
Hi

I've had my car in the shop 2x once for 14 days and the other for over 40 days . Mostly minor issues but sometimes the car dash board doesn't come on.

Was going to hire a attorney and they mentioned it wasn't in my best interest. 1st it might take 1.5 years to arbitrate and 2nd apparently the lucid doesn't care and they don't provide a resolution.

Just checking to see how your case is going and if anything has come of it.

Thx!
