good noon. I am looking to purchase one of the demo Lucid Vehicles. How did you go about getting the additional hidden discounts. Did you do everything online or did you go into a Lucid Studio and work with a Sales advisor?

Hi – I’m considering buying a lucid air but am concerned about the roof rack issue. A lot of people post about having problems with them, but it looks like you did not. Did you install them yourself and have you had any problems with them? What do you use them to carry? Thanks

@Demosthenes How were you able to unscrew the screw after taking off the little plastic off from the roof. There were no tool included in the roof rack when i purchased from the lucid store. It looks like a star pattern.

Hm sorry I don’t recall exactly, but I have a screwdriver with a large variety of bits so I imagine one of them fit and did the job

Thanks for the info. @Demosthenes - do you leave the racks on all the time, or remove for "off season?" I live in the PNW and really only need for summer activities so with my Tesla I removed in the winter to improve my range.

Great! Welcome to the club. I also have a touring. 21k miles since March 2023. Besides some initial trim problems it's been great!
