Yosemite interior arm rest question

To answer your question, I have the same material on the arm rests of my '23 Air Pure AWD. I would prefer the same material as the center armrest, but I wear short sleeve shirts almost all the time, and I'm fine with it. I noticed it being a bit scratchy at first, but very quickly got used to it. That said, I'm glad that the center armrest is not made with that material, as it gets a lot more use and arm movement.

A follow-up question - how much would your experience with that interior in your Air affect your future interior choices?

Thanks Bob! That's exactly the kind of first-hand feedback I've been hoping to see.

It's odd that they even say that they put purluxe on the back seat door armrests explicitly, but that's not the case even though I'd love to see that (on both rows).

I got my Gravity yesterday with Yosemite Purluxe. I was considering changing the interior material but the car was already built and being prepped for delivery. I was thinking about this thread when I was driving today. It is definitely not as smooth as the material on the center console cover (or Tesla's Ultrawhite on my Model Y). But after a bit I really didn't think about it. If it continues to bug me I'll find some way to make a temporary panel with a smoother fabric and find a way to non-destructively attach it.

But I think I'll likely just get used to it. Frankly the driver's cockpit area is so much wider than in my Model Y (or our previous X) that I didn't think about it as much.
