Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

Basically 2 computers should be retrofitted for smooth UI…
I think it's safe to assume that if both could be easily updated, then that's what they would've offered. I recall when they first started talking about the hardware differences between the 2025 vehicle and older vehicles, people asked the upgrade question and were told, "it's not a given that we'll be able to do it....there's a ton of interconnected systems." My guess is this upgrade represents what they CAN do in a reliable way that doesn't cost a fortune in labor and can actually scale. If it was just a drop-in chip replacement on both computers, it's reasonable to think they would've offered it. If someone with inside knowledge or a better understanding can shed some light, please do...but as a software engineer who has worked on distributed systems for around 30 years, that's my first take.

This is exactly the timings my 2022 Lucid has that I just picked up on 07/09/2025. Judging from your mobile tech's response I am going to assume my vehicle has CCCv2 even though it's from 2022 since I didn't get the upgrade message / email. My profile loading time matches yours and my camera loading time is actually quicker.
Sounds like it. It must have been replaced. Give your mobile tech or service center a call and they will be able to confirm it for you.

Mobile service installed my CCC and attended to some minor adjustments in under three hours yesterday. I immediately noticed faster response time of the accelerator and less front motor whine, but maybe it was just my imagination. Screen response was noticeably faster. I also noticed and this is not my imagination that the regenerative braking in sprint on the high setting had far gentler stops even at a 60% SOC. I will get use to it but initially it was a bit unsettling because the car did not stop as it had before the new CCC. I extend my appreciation to the Lucid tech from the Mechanicsville temporary service center for his courteous and professional attention.
How did you get mobile service to install this? When using app to schedule, I only see service center option.

While we wait for a response, In the DFW area, mobile service told me it is an easy install. He was at my place for the annual service (I already have the upgrade). He said the CCC is accessible from the passenger footwell area. The time-consuming part is pushing all the updates which will take a few hours according to the tech.

Call your local SC. I just spoke with mine earlier today and brought up the mobile option, after initially discussing my going to the SC, and he said mobile would be an option. I'm still waiting to hear back on scheduling, because he said they want to try to schedule another customer who lives nearby to get this upgrade on the same day.

I am located on the CT Shoreline and just setup the hardware upgrade and annual service for end of August with mobile service. I called the Plainview service center and aside from needing a few weeks to get the necessary parts there was no issue with doing this service and upgrade in my driveway. I couldn’t setup the appointment in the app. I’m not sure I’ll notice the change in hardware (I really haven’t been bothered by the current interface performance) but hope it will keep me happy as future updates happen. Seems like a small upgrade cost on a car I want to keep.

For anyone who had their chip replaced, did you receive Shock and Tilt notifications during the repair time?

I ask because I received 2 during that time and looking at my car there’s a scrape under the front bumper that wasn’t there before…
