Wire sticking through the charger port

My 2022 AGT had a wire suddenly appear sticking through the bottom of the charging port. So far, it doesn't seem impactful with charging and I can probably make it disappear if I push back inside the port (but it might reappear again). Does anyone know what this is and what the urgency to get this addressed?

The photo is pretty fuzzy!

Is that a metal rectangle at the end or the wire? If so, it might be the charge port emergency release cable.
If it's plastic, then something else.

Bingo! Service center also thought the emergency release cable. Thanks much! Sorry about the fuzzy pic as I’m on a road trip and was weary of using a HV charger the next day until I had some idea what this might be.
