Window cleaning: Help

For the life of me, I cannot get the interior windshield and roof clean. I've used different products, different towels/rags. All supposedly that don't streak. Seems like I just move the smudge around. Never mind, I can't get to the bottom and corners of the windshield. I even bought one of the triangle cleaner things with a handle from TikTok - made it worse. I've used a little bit of cleaner and I've used a lot of cleaner - doesn't matter. Streaks alive. Likewise, I have a hard time with the outside of the windows. I'm tempted to call a detailer. Does anyone have any suggestions for streak clean shine? And Yes, I do clean the interior in the garage out of the sun.

I use plenty of Invisible Glass with a paper towel, scrub and wipe completely dry with a fresh paper towel. Then go again with a light spritz of the same and a lint free microfiber towel.

On the inside? I don't use water on the inside. Should I - like with a spray bottle. Any cleaner?

Basically, you clean them twice. How do you get in the nooks and crevices at the bottom where the dash meets the window. I struggle so hard.

I have always had success cleaning the inside of car windows using newspaper (if you can find it) and window cleaner. Do the initial cleaning with newspaper, then followup with paper towels.

this one works pretty well for me (although I have a ceramic coating on my glass). step 1 is to apply it to the lint free microfiber or glass and rub it in, cleaning the glass. step 2 is to take a different microfiber, no product on it at all and no water drops and buff it clean. product links below (amazon). If you see any streaks or smearing, just go over it again with the perfectly clean (no product, no water drops) towel.

you would have to ask the original owner .. not sure how you could tell other than it sheds water in big drops really easily. but that was just an aside, I don't have ceramic on the inside and I do the exact same.

But I am curious, how is the interior of the glass getting so dirty that we can't find a solution to clean it well? I have had my car for nearly 10 months and the glass is spotless on the inside still...

Interior plastics and leather in all cars outgas with time and temperature, leaving a thin film of organic compounds on the inside of the windows.

Yes, once with a lot of fluid to dilute and mop up the VOCs on the glass. And again with a clean cloth and little cleaner (solvent) to get the last bit.

I use a triangle thing from Invisible glass on the second pass inside the windshield. You can throw a fresh microfiber towel over it if needed.
