Will 275/40R22 & 295/35R23 fit?

Future owner here...will 275/40R22 and 295/35R23 fit? Looking at future tires for when the OEM ones get worn out.

The 22/23" tires introduce some challenges, especially with replacement options. In fact, I emailed my SA and told him to update my build from 22/23" to 21/22". Absolutely hate the 20/21" wheels.

Going with a non stock size is a bit of a guessing game and you gotta start measuring clearance and be ready for the speedometer be off and whatever impact that results on other systems.

What’s the main purpose here?

One of the reasons why I'm considering going with a slightly larger tire is specifically for this reason. The 295/40R23 is half the cost.

Wouldn’t you make that plan before the purchase though?

I bought the small wheel and upgraded to 22” all around, and the upgrade cost me as much as the large wheel upgrade, except I got to keep the small wheel and tire too.

Bigger tire will screw with speedometer and might rub or hit suspension or fenders. One of those moments where it’s not obvious if you are going to win or lose.

Going 10mm in section width should be fine. Your speedometer will be off around 1% which is negligible.

However, you cannot go larger in aspect ratio/profile to 40 because you’ll rub. The rear fender liners to tire is about 0.5” which is pretty damn tight.

Make sure those tires load rating works with the Gravity.

I’ll wait until the car is delivered before I decide what to do with my first tire replacement. If the sidewalls are anything like my Tesla, then I’ll be going 10mm bigger for sure so I have a little more protection from scrapping the wheels
