Hello fellow owners of Lucid Air. I know that the Lucid charger is miserable for keeping track of our valuable charging costs. I’ve created an Excel file that I unfortunately have to fill out manually to keep track of all my charges at home and on the road.
However, I’ve never seen any exchange of information on this forum about the cost of electricity for each of us. My 2023 Air Touring has a 92KW battery.
Since I live in Quebec with harsh winters, I have a dual-energy heating and cooling system. This means that the normal price for KWH costs me 4.93 cents CAD when the temperature is above -12 Celsius (10F). Below -12C, the price is 29.018 cents CAD.
This means that to charge my 92KW battery to 100%, it would cost about 4.54$ CAD, and 26.70$ CAD if I need to charge with an outside temperature of -12C (10F) or less.
How much does electricity cost per KWH in your area, and what is your charging cost?
Don’t forget to clearly state your State, Province, Region, and country. It would be interesting to create a summary table at the end of this exercise.

Why not adding the price for the gasoline for ONE liter for super at the pomp, here the price is about 1,69$ CAD / liter. 7,44$ CAD for 1 US gallon.
 
Eastern PA. I currently pay ~$0.18 for generation/transmission/taxes but I have a solar array which generates roughly half my electricity, effectively cutting that rate in half.
 
Texas - I pay a constant 7.5 cents/kwh no matter time or temp.
 
California 43 cent K/wh Tier 1 / 52 cents K/wh Tier 2

Free at work so never charge at home
 
Chelan in Washington State 2.7 cents per kWh
La Quinta, California 24 cents per kWh
 
In the Wild West of Texas deregulated electricity, you can pay anywhere from 7.5 cents/kwh on up to 20 cent/kwh depending on where in state you live and what program you sign up for - variable or fixed, month to month or 2 year contract, etc.
 
The interesting thing ('interesting' IMO as in the Chinese curse) is what I fear will happen to these residential rates as all of these massive AI data centers begin gobbling up resources 24/7. I expect gasoline to have something between a trade-off and cost advantage within 18 months.

Perhaps you can also ask people to report on price increases above x %.
 
I’m in the Phoenix metro area and rates vary throughout the day with the low at 6.27 cents / kWh and the high at 31.29 cents / kWh. The majority of the day is at 13.89 cents / kWh. I do have a solar array so I pay a fraction of these rates.
 
I don’t worry about it. My charger figures it all out!

effective rate is .36 per kWh in my town in MA
 
Nashville is 12 to 13 cents
 
I shop around every 6 months or so. Currently contracted with a wind/solar provider through next April:
6.9c/kWh generation charge
9.6c/kWh transmission charge
