Anyone experience a loss of mids and highs randomly while driving?

Was driving on the BQE today using HA and as usual it kept bugging on the straightaways to keep a hand on the wheel even though I have a hand on the wheel, when a red warning appeared on the left that said something like resume driving or something and HA was greyed out. I figured it was upset at me for not nudging hard enough. The odd thing was the stereo lost the ability to play high and mid range sounds and would only play bass and lows. Even when I put the blinker on there was no sound (crazy to think that blinker sounds come through the speakers now a days). I pulled over at the next exit and did a soft reset and sounds restored.

Yes. Happened to me twice. Kept driving and sound came back after a few minutes. Happened after 2.4.X update.

A few times I have lost sound while driving. It seems the bass can be heard, but without any treble or midrange it's not very effective. Stopping & performing a logo reset cures it. As I have to bring my touring in for service in another week because my lane change cameras have been MIA since the 2.4 update, I'm going to ask them to look into this issue. I'll update this forum after that visit.

It’s unrelated to HA. It’s happened to me once or twice on 2.4. I lost the mic, and only the mic, on one drive as well - I could hear perfectly, but the mic just didn’t exist.

Anyway, my suspicion is some bad concurrency somewhere that is causing the audio process to crash, which is why a reboot of the infotainment system brings it right back up.

I do wish they would just restart crashed processes, but there are almost certainly reasons I’m unaware of that that is harder than it appears; for one thing, maybe everything has to come up in a certain order for some reason, or whatever.

Makes sense that some routine might clash with the audio- in this case it might have been something to do with the HA, but it could have more likely been coincidental. Too bad there's no send to lucid function for them to collect data on these issue (or maybe they do and we just don't know).

In both of my instances, 2 audio sources were being used. Like tidal and blinkers. And tidal + navigation.

No sound loss, but I did experience static on all audio sources yesterday. A light random crackling, but noticeable. A logo reset fixed it right away.

I have had this happen repeatedly. First time I was streaming Apple Carplay and the sound started to get crackly and distorted and then went out, The second time just no sound, including the blinkers. Rather strange thing to happen.

Just recently happened to me when I tried to engage HA. The sound became garbled, blinker sound was also inaudible. Tried to change sources but didn't fix the issue. Previous to this, the sound became garbled for a second or two anytime I got into the car. Had to do a Lucid Logo reset to return the audio back to normal. Reminds me of older Windows OS requiring a restart every so often to clear up cache and memory.
