So, I caved in yesterday and ordered a Gravity in Aurora Green! I picked all options, including DD Pro and SS Pro, to address some regrets for not ordering those with my Air Pure. On the ordering page, I see the following features for DD Premium in Gravity. While I have no insider info, I surely hope Lucid will port over some of those features for air for DD Premium customers as well—wherever technology allows.

DreamDrive™ Premium includes:
• Enhanced Drive Assist
• Adaptive Lane Biasing
• Lane Change Assist
• Speed Based Suggested Lane Change
• Adaptive Drive Beam
• Blind Spot Display
• Automatic Park In/Out
• Surround View Monitoring

As a relatively new Lucid owner and shareholder, I continue to be amazed by the engineering, innovation, and continuous improvements Lucid is committed to. I know we all have small gripes hear and there, and I am not immune to those. But in the big picture, I have fallen for Lucid head over heels and I can't wait to see all the amazing things to come.

Congrats on your Gravity order. I've had my Air GT for two years, love it, so decided to wait on ordering a Gravity for now. I do a lot of road trips and want to take full advantage of the three years of free charging at EA before I change cars. Lucid is an amazing vehicle, cruising at 80mph and still giving 3.5miles per Kwh.

Interesting, as a DD Premium user I really hope we get those features on the Air. It does beg the question whether ultimately Air and Gravity will use the same version of software, albeit supporting subtly different hardware. If I was running the software dept, I'd build a single platform and abstract away the differences, so that the team is writing fundamentally one code base, with minor differences. Exciting.

Is there an explanation anywhere what "Enhanced Drive Assist" and "Adaptive Lane Biasing" are? Is adaptive lane biasing the same as lane centering?

I picked up my AT in March 2023, right after the announcement of a round of layoffs. Having gone through the early Tesla routine of overpromising and underdelivering, I yanked the DDPro order from my options. I'm happy to say that Lucid is catching up (Android Auto soon?) and sometimes exceeding those expectations (eg. dashcam). I have all the hardware required for DDPro and I hope that Lucid rewards its earlier adopters with DD Premium parity across the line where hardware permits.

I'm not sure I follow. Lucid is exceeding expectations with Dashcam ?

Dashcam wasn't promised, AA was promised "real soon" by sales agents and my delivery agent. I could see how a dashcam sounds ordinary, but I was just measuring expectations.

What I mean is, we don't have Dashcam right now, and they have not promised it either, AFAIK
It was in the tech and manufacturing day slides as on the way, which means “soon” since it was an investor presentation. Much of that slide had already come out.

@EZEVDriver’s point was that AA is on its way, and was promised. Dashcam, though never having been promised, is also on its way.
