Used 2022 Air Grand Touring Checklist

I am looking at a used 2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring and thought I would check with everyone here on what to check before I buy the car. I know I need to update the infotainment which costs $1000. What about known issues, accessories, key fobs, or anything else I should check and make sure are included?

I did notice the blind spot camera in the instrument cluster was not smooth. Is that because the car does not have the latest infotainment update? Did UX3 make it clear and without lag?

I would make sure it has at least one key card and that using the card allows you to drive the car. Having a working fob is also important. Ideally, the car comes with two fobs and two cards.

Look closely at the front, top and rear glass for any significant chips or cracks. Lucid has to replace these components and it can be expensive.

Take a quick look underneath just to check that the battery doesn't have any sort of dents.

Tires are what they are. Knowing if/when you will have to replace them is good info. Look for curb rash on the wheels.

You can call Lucid customer support or the nearest service center to check the warranty. Some Lucid reps will give you that info, some won't. The service center might be more amenable to helping you out. Some 2022s were put into service later and have warranties with some time left.

Check if the car comes with a mobile charger. Getting a non Lucid one isn't too expensive. The Lucid branded one though is some what pricey.

Make sure both massage seats work.
