If you hover close enough, it will trigger the screen as if you'd touched it. These are capacitive sensing displays that may interpret near-contact as actual contact.I think Lucid may have adjusted something with the touch screen response. Previously I had to hit the homelink multiple times and wonder when it will work. Yesterday I'm positive I hadn't even touched the screen, hovering over waiting to backup far enough and the door started closing. Scared the heck out of me. I was touching over the top of the screen with my fingers to steady my hand with my thumb in position above the Homelink button. Think I'll keep my hands on the wheel till I'm clear of the garage.
The same thing happens in our Volvo EV.
