this is exactly what Lucid mobile tech told me a few months ago, when I asked him, if there's any way to tell the car "yo, I am here, waiting for you with the key fob"
My key fob chews through batteries like there's no tomorrow, probably going through a single 'pill' in 2-3 months, I blame the cheap ones I got from Amazon, not the Panasonic's ,but some chinese unbranded ones.
I noticed a strong correlation between key fob acting up and its battery level. It's been a few times, when the car prompted me to changed battery in the key fob, right after auto-unlocking had glitched / has been slow to present the handles. Changing the battery immediately fixes the reponse time, for me at leas
Recalling Emad mentioning to OOS Kyle that somewhere around 3.3.2 time they managed to reduce key fob battery consumption by an order of magnitude...something tells me it still consumes lots of juice, cause I am sure some people on this forum use good quality batteries
