Update & Frunk unlatching

Software update 2.1.18 is currently downloading. Said to be a 40 minute operation. On another note; is anyone having problems with the frunk unlatching. Our's wants to catch the safety latch when opening preventing the lid from coming up. The only way I have had success is to pry up on the lid when it tries to open.

Not me. Sounds like a job for mobile service

Not a problem with unlatching, but often won’t latch correctly and dash warning light goes off until I get out push the hood down.

I have a similar problem with my frunk. Sometimes it opens about an inch and then closes. When I try it again it opens fully. Mobile service has seen it and they recommend letting them rebuild the front end. Not sure if I really want to do that but the opening problem is annoying.
