Hi
What do people think will be the impact on Lucid used car sales once the tariffs kick in? Even though Lucid is built in America, we all know many parts have foreign origins.

Do you think prices of used Lucids, which have been pretty low, would tend to increase?

Your thoughts?
Thanks

If the prices on new cars increase, the prices of used cars increase too. Historically speaking

Not Lucid specific, but there have been a lot of articles predicting that the tariffs will cause the used car market prices to rise. So, I would assume that could also be expected for used Lucids.

This is a circumstance where it's pretty easy to apply economic rules. Higher new vehicle prices will suppress demand for new vehicles. While a certain amount of that demand is elastic and will just disappear, some of it gets shunted off into the used vehicle market, raising demand there. For the elastic demand that "disappears", some of that will manifest in people holding on to their existing vehicles longer, thus reducing supply in the used vehicle market. You get a pretty textbook case of lower supply, higher demand, and the outcome of higher prices in the used vehicle market as a whole. That doesn't make it easy to predict what the prices for a particular model of used vehicle will be, but it's reasonable to think that used Airs will rise in value.

I hope you’re right. Since I’m looking to sell my Air Grand Touring when I receive my Gravity.
