Unveiling the Tesla Roadster - 10-15-26 Livestream starts at 5:45 pm PST

What is the probability that it will be delayed again?

The webcast is delayed, if that is any indication
Still just a silent black page with no explanation after 10 minutes.

Well it's revealed. Do I like the look; no but I bet it's going to sell like hot potatoes just because of the inovatation. A car that can *flip/fly

It flies...wtf!

Thus, you may now genuinely jump a red light.

I guess I'm old... a car that does flips doesn't really impress me. Wait, that's not correct, it's impressive for a stunt car but not something that I would own. I'm too pragmatic 😔

Holy crap… I have to say that I was thoroughly entertained with the craziness. An impressive show of engineering for sure.

The thrusters are definitely impressive from an engineering perspective. I imagine they won't be road legal though, so I don't really get why they did it.

More importantly, there is no way in hell this is going to cost the $200k/$250k they suggested years ago, even in the base version that doesn't have thrusters. If you look at the pictures it has a full carbon tub. Between that, the complex active aero, and the suction down force system, I'd imagine this will be closer to $1M a la McMurtry (see link below for reference). I can't imagine how much the thrusters would tack on.

I'd much rather have an Air Sapphire. It's a practical car that can actually be driven down the road, while still delivering more performance than I'll probably evem learn to properly handle. And I predict it'll turn out to be much more affordable to purchase.

Cool rocket trick. Love that they slapped Cybertruck armor onto a squashed Lambo. You're turning a flagship vehicle into a pack mule to drag around plumbing you'll never use daily. The two-second gimmick isn't the future I thought it would be.

Honestly, it felt like a three ring circus. Can't figure out if Musk was the Ringmaster or Clown. Shilling a product that will never come to market as shown or in what tine frame. Also agree that it will not be close to the $250K originally promised. Nothing to see here, move on people.
