It is when most people have major complaints. Lucid has not earned its price hike.

regardless, almost never does an auto manufacturer lower the price for the next year's model

$1,000 price hike on both the dynamic handling package and surreal sound pro as well. Ouch.

Honestly the rest of the changes make sense. Glad they are simplifyng things, at least on the GT.

I'm afraid that is not the way pricing is determined...
 
For the 2027, it looks like a "Standard UX". I cant remember what this used to be....perhaps they dropped the HUD?

Polestar does the same, providing different colors for higher trims
 
I'm not surprised on the slight price increase. Considering the macro economic conditions, this was expected. However, I was hoping to see some additions...like exterior colors, and silver and black options for all 3 wheel sizes.

And I didnt see the feature of "improved software" and reduced "hardware noises and bugs" anywhere... :p
 
The base model including a couple of the most common options makes me wonder what they will do to clear out lower specced 26 inventory. Who would pay more for last year’s model with the same configuration?

I'd be very, very surprised if incentives on 2026s didn't account for model year change and content change. Perhaps there won't be as many incentives on 2027s - as a shareholder, that would make my day!
 
Glad options like Comfort and Convenience and Dream Drive Premium are now standard. Just those two pretty much offset the $4k GGT base price increase.

I hope we find out more about improvements, for '27?

I know am just saying. Hopefully Lucid has learned a few things in 2026 that it will implement on 2027 model year Gravities that are not part of the customer ordering process such as better materials or hardware like HUD or improved parts so they don't fall off.

Matching a 2026 GGT config in available inventory, I see the 2026 is $115,500, and the custom configured 2027 is $116,050. Presumably the 2027 won't (initially) have the same incentives, but a $550 increase is 0.5% more, which seems pretty reasonable considering the economy we have these days. Certainly not something most would call a "big price hike", but maybe that's true for other configurations.
