Gravity
My Air lease is up soon and I am interested in a Gravity. I have communicated that to two sales people at the closest Lucid showroom in Tysons Corner, VA. I have been exceptionally transparent with them and told them along the way my timeline. Every time they've called, I have answered and never given them the runaround, Shared that I will make my decision middle of this week. I have even chosen an available Gravity in their lineup and communicated that to two different sales people. To date, over the last two weeks, they don't return calls, rarely reply to emails and texts, don't call when they promise, and have left me entirely baffled. I feel like they are making me beg them so I can give them my money. All the effort is mine to keep me in their vehicles. This was exactly what Tesla did, which is why I left the brand. I am an early adapter to Lucid and leased my Air when it was outrageously priced. You'd think I'd be treated better and I am not sure what to do. Any advice?

I'm not really sure how far way you are from the showroom, but if you're really serious I'd just show up.

It's a four hour ride from where I am in NC. They delivered my Air three years ago. They'd expect me to show up to turn in this lease and get the Gravity. Love the thought, but just showing up can't happen and anyway, if it came to that, they'd be telling me very overtly that they really don't want to put forth the necessary effort to keep me as a customer (fan).

Have they assigned the Lucid rep (the ones that are usually in CA) at teh national number? If not why not call the main line instead

When I got my first Tesla in 2020 it was VIP service all the way, from pickup to service and beyond. As you mention, no longer. Hopefully you can figure it out.

also- unless you plan on driving 4 hours to pick it up, why not deal with national anyway since you're still going to get the transport fee no matter where it coming from

My experience with a Tysons sales rep was so ridiculously bad it's still hard to even believe. After I literally walked away from the sales rep and buying the car, I decided to call headquarters and had all my weeks' worth of issues/questions resolved and my $500 deposit made within 10 minutes of getting on the call.

Edit: BTW I spoke with Naz. I live in SC and I think she said she was the sales rep responsible for the Carolinas so try to get a hold of her.

Im perplexed, they should be actively engaging you to sell a vehicle.

I really worry about the level of service (both sales and repairs) when they roll out an economy priced midsize. Example given - Tesla😐

Might have worked out in your favor. I see an extra 3k off if you get something available now this weekend!

They’ve gotta wait until next year there’s just no way. Especially if they have to service each one right after sale. Even if they don’t they are so overwhelmed.

Yea I saw that. The challenge is that there are no cars that come even close to what I want. Funny thing is there were two and when I went to do it, they told me each time that they’re gone. I had assumed if I’m talking to a sales person about a car, that they’d hold it for 24 hours so I could get it done. Honestly, this is how I was treated by Tesla and I’m starting to get those vibes from Lucid. I told them I flew from my home to Boston just to see one three years ago (that resulted in gen Air) and seemingly, that has not meant much to them. Maybe I’m just a number now.

Call Naz at the corporate office. The turnaround for me from Tysons to her was tremendous. They found me a car I wanted and shipped it from PA to Tysons at no cost and I was back up there a week later picking it up.

Edit - I still got the onsite discount too!
