Since last / latest software update I have experienced an odd glitch where the trunk will not close using the console.
The three times this occurred the trunk appears to be about 1-2” from fully open.
Console button indicates activity but no activity at the trunk.
The workaround is to depress the trunk button manually, which the opens the trunk the last inch or two. The console switch then works as expected.
This could be a SUE (stupid user error) as on one occasion I started to close the trunk, from the physical trunk button , and it did a quick start/stop at which point I just got in the car to use the console switch (which didn’t work).
I was going to chalk this up to yet another glitch with the software but after the third time it’s really becoming annoying. Not nearly annoying as the car refusing to realize your waiting for it to unlock (via iPhone, fob or key card), a daily PIA, but annoying none the less.
