Trading my lucid air in for a gravity

I just decided to trade my 2022 lucid air in on a gravity SUV unfortunately the car I wanted only came with 22”/23” wheels when I really wanted the 20”/21” wheels. I wonder if anyone on these had the inverse wanted the larger wheels but got the smaller wheels and would be interested in a trading wheels.

Ok just stop lol. I had an Audi Q7 several years ago, and I used to drive up and down the East Coast a couple times a year fully loaded. That thing was a beast.

Wasn't into possible to switch at the sales station? Ing Germany I could according to sales person take one of inventory however if I did not like the

It's generally difficult in the USA, as factory-printed window sticker on the car lists the car's options, and by law it must be sold that way.
Often a pair of new car owners arrange a wheel swap after the sale.

The lucid sales center told me they used to allow swaps before delivery on the air but they do not allow that anymore. Of coarse they will sell me 4 new wheels and 4 tires then I have to find someone to sell my wheels / tires to. But it would be better if I could find someone willing to just swap.

Maybe they were slightly more desperate back then, but in December 2024 when they offered me an air touring that had all the same options that I had ordered on my pure, except it came with the performance tires, they were willing to trade the tires out for me after it arrived in Natick, but before I picked it up (since I’m more of an efficiency nut).

OK I did not know that. When I was in the lucid sales room I wanted my configuration because it's so expensive car. The sales man told us that it is not possible since configurations are blocked for now. They need to get rid of the available cars first. However I would like max range and 20/21 so smallest configuration. But none available. So he told me I could easily have them switched since they do have those tires / rims available and I would save the 3500 euro for the 22/23 ones.

Congrats! I did the same. The Air was a nice car but very low to the ground so tough to exit. The Gravity has so much more room on nearly the same footprint and gets me about the same range ( I’m getting about 340 miles real range out of the gravity GT and my Air GT used to get me about 380) also the Air suspension is a better ride.
