Those who have installed amplifiers/ subwoofers

i want to know which 12v battery you tapped into (under rear seat or trunk) and if you installed an extra battery or a capacitor. Thanks in advance

The trunk one is the standard and you can use the 12v aux back there as a trigger. I wouldn’t use a cap.

Super dumb question - But are there any issues with disconnecting the 12V ground to connect power on the positive terminal for a Fosgate P300-12T? AI says if you disconnect the 12V ground that it will mess up the whole car and possible cause a short, causing the car to think it was in an accident, and shutting everything down.
