Gross... Mercedes designers are some of the most talented in the industry. It's really hard to make an already horrible design EVEN worse!

Anybody in the "giant passenger luxobarge" category would be much better served by the i7.

Over never found Mercs to be remotely attractive cars.
Frame of reference: I always liked Audis and have owned A6 and A7’s though the Etron and the Q-SUV’s are more generic designs that are bland.

I was joking about how their designers are talented enough to somehow make it worse… it takes real skill to do that on this car!

This is tough but I'm meaning the i7. I mean that thing leaves me speechless with how awful it looks.

I don't know about that... at least the i7 has actual PRESENCE with how imposing and stately it looks (dare I say, with some shades of rolls royce in it), while this is just a 9th generation Honda Civic with a Mercedes badge on it. The i7 looks good in my eyes, so theres that... but I admit Audi (and Jaguar, in a way) designs strike a perfect sweet spot.

And before you guys make a joke about how I like the Cybertruck design too, I only like it because it's insanely distinctive, not for any other reason!

Yea, the only BMW's I would consider right now are the X5, the XM and the 8-series, maybe the 3-series or the Z4 if I want something smaller. Loved my M5, but the new design on the 5-series does not bode well for the new M5 when it is released.

And the G60 M5 will be a HUGE disappointment, I'm calling it... FWD car proportions at the front there!

Did not say I "love" the XM, just would consider it. I have not seen one in person, so it is hard to be certain. If I decided tomorrow to replace the Lucid, it would be the M850i x-drive Gran Coupe in green, maybe an M8 or the Alpina B8, but I had problems with my previous B7, so might stay away from the Alpina.

Its funny. Everyone oooh and aah over Mercedes interiors. I just don't. I don't think they are attractive in the least. They have the feeling of a Las Vegas casino to me.
I can almost smell the smoking residue oder when I see it. LOL
I think Bentley is the pinnacle and I love what Lucid did as well.

Yeah, Bentley does it much better. I drove a loaner C-class few years ago, just 5k miles but creaked like crazy. Merc has lost its mojo

Great shot.
One thing I'm missing is Capitan Janeway, Capitan Sisco and the Ferrengi bartender.
Overall, it's a glittery MB for sure

Its all customizable so you can have a little or a lot and that is up to you. Lucid does not even give us an opportunity to change the LED accent color (Besides the few they choose) which I think is lame. I have two MB's as well as my GT and the MB interiors are far superior.

For me, it’s too much….I like the simplicity of the Lucid.

They remind me of the old Cadillac interiors. Lots of pillow backs, etc. The front end looks very much like an old man's car (and I am an old man). Mercedes can't figure out whether it wants to be a luxury mark, a performance mark or one for everyone.
