Great article! Jump to the end to see that the Corvette is the most inexpensive as tested at $255K and the Sapphire is second at $258K. The others are way more expensive but go through the specs and the Lucid is number one in almost all categories!!!

Yeah should be like 0.6s, or they used an excel cell dropdown interpolation from the previous acceleration rates...

It gets even better. Take the original (4) cars and add

• Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
• Tesla Model 3 Performance
• Tesla Cyberbeast
• Rivian R1T Quad Motor

and do both a 1/4 mile and a 1/2 mile drag race. What we have here is a very diverse competitor group.

• (4) Electric Vehicles
• (4) gasoline powered vehicles, of which (2) are hybrids
• (3) family sedans
• (2) pickup trucks
• (1) manual transmission

Doug DeMuro pointed out the Saphire specifically about how it just destroyed the Ferrari Luce for 1/3 price and looks better too it’s a good point. It’s weird the Saphire even exists but it’s awesome.

I love that it takes a $2.3mil hyper-car a full half mile to finally overtake a 5-seat luxury sedan and beat it by a measly 0.1 sec!

I really wish someone would finally do some proper run with the Touring trim so I can finally have a real sense of where my car would stack up. Everything seems to run the Sapphire, or a GT.
