Hi Everyone. I use an iPhone, but I'm not a fan of CarPlay (guessing I'm the minority with this one). When using CarPlay, I turned off the feature that reads the text when it comes in (had a surprise ruined when someone in the car found out about a surprise cruise I was planning for us
). After turning that feature off, I got tired of always needing to go into CarPlay to see who sent me a text. I decided to turn off CarPlay and use the Lucid's native texting and phone calling features. I love how text message notifications display on the screen. Two questions:
I'm guessing the answer to these is no, but you all have a lot more experience with Lucid than I do, so I figured I'd check with the experts.

- Is there a way to have the car make a notification sound when a text message comes in (the way CarPlay does)? Not a huge deal since the notification pops up in your view anyway.
- After clicking PLAY to listen to the message, you only get 10 or so canned responses you can reply with. Aside from clicking the microphone button and asking to send a text message to Blah, is there a way to initiate a dictated reply from the UI after the car reads the text message you just received?
I'm guessing the answer to these is no, but you all have a lot more experience with Lucid than I do, so I figured I'd check with the experts.
