When ever I get a text and hit the play button, it literally takes a minute or two to read out the text message. Pretty annoying to wait that long. Anyone else getting same issue?

I do have a delay but it's only about 10 seconds? Definitely not even close to a minute or even two. Samsung Galaxy S22.

Actually, it is about 30 seconds, not a minute or two.

I really wish they would just display the written text. The delay in starting, reciting the name of the sender, and reciting the whole thread really reduces the utility. If it's OK for me to look over to read my choice of programmed text responses, seems like it should be ok to just display short text messages as well.

Having Android Auto/Apple CarPlay would solve that problem.

Text message comes in, hit play message on right driver panel.
