Tesla Super Charging usage

For those of you who are able to charge using Tesla Supercharger stations are you charged the same per kHw amount as a Tesla? I recently traveled with a Tesla owner and the charge at a Tesla station (for his Tesla) was 28 cents per kHw. My EA stations in the same area charge 68 cents per kWh. Wow, that is a good deal for Tesla owners. Do you get the same?

I believe you have to get a Supercharger membership for lower rates, but that doesn't match what Tesla owners actually pay.

In order to get the cheapest rate for non-Tesla vehicles at Tesla Superchargers, you need to enroll in the Tesla membership and authorize the charge with the Tesla app BEFORE you plug into your Air. In addition, you will need to get the NACS to CCS adapter and due to limitations on the Lucid side, you'll only be able to charge at about 50kW unless you use a new/upgraded V4 Tesla SC. The Tesla app will tell you where you are able to charge and what the non-Tesla vehicle rates are.

According to my Tesla Sriver friend, he told me that when Musk set the charging stations he made them revenue neutral. Some in my area are charging 21 cents per kWh due to what Tesla negotiated with the power company. This is cheaper than my PGE non peak time with an EV plan

I don’t know about any of that. They are pretty expensive down here in SoCal depending on time of day.

yeah no way. our power here is so cheap its almost free, and Tesla charges .70kw during peak hours, more than the EA that's 200 yards away and faster.
