For the last few weeks I have the System Alert (Orange/Yellow Exclamation in Triangle) remain ON all the time which never happened before in the last 2.5 yrs I have owned the GT. This would only appear momentarily when some sensor was blocked or other alerts - but not remain ON. I can see in the forum others have had similar experiences but is there still no way to look up what exactly the System Alert may be?

Mine has been on for most of the time I've owned the vehicle - the lidar sensor is incredibly intolerant and any amount of water, dust, wind, emotion will cause it to alert.

I have not found a way to actually get it to tell me again after, but that does remain on for the duration even after the lidar sensor message goes away.

I got the same mysterious alert this morning and called Customer Service. They texted me instructions to do a reboot to see if that cleared it. If not, they said the car might have to go in for service. However, after I parked the car for one of my errands, the warning disappeared with the restart of the car. (It also disappeared momentarily while I was doing a U-turn.) I don't know why you'd be given a warning with no clue what for.

They said the Air logo reboot wouldn't go deep enough to determine if there was a problem other than a software glitch and told me to use this reboot:

Press the X button on the left side of the steering wheel and the microphone button on the right side at the same time. Hold the brake pedal and the buttons for at least 30 seconds. Once you release them the screens will go dark and you'll get two chimes. The screens will slowly light back up as the reboot completes.

If that doesn't clear the warning, call Customer Service.

On a second outing today after the outing in which I got the yellow triangle warning, I got the alert that the lidar sensor was blocked. We were having a light misting rain, but I very seldom get this alert even in Florida drenchers. It cleared itself as a I drove.

The triangle warning and the lidar alert did not seem related, as least in my case.

Interesting - I get it when there is essentially any amount of moisture in the air or on the vehicle.

In fairness, my Taycan also did this - and they replaced the lidar & PCCM for it 3 times before declaring it actually was working right, just that LIDAR and Chicago's climate don't go well together.

It would be really great when a warning triangle displayed if there was a place to click where it would give you the current warning message(s) - Tesla does this for example.

When I've had them in my Air, the text of the warning appears for a brief time, but if you miss it, then you don't know what the issue is until (if) the text comes back the next time you drive. Hopefully this will be addressed in a future update.

When I called Customer Service, they did ask me to hit the "About" button on the Pilot Panel car control menu to see if there was a message there. There wasn't in my case, but maybe that means the warning is explained there if it's a valid warning end not a sensor or software glitch?

When I looked up where to look for the warning detail, (somewhere, forget where), I tried there too. Nothing. I think it's supposed to be indicated there, but does not appear to work.

The “about” screen would seem to be the logical place for this. Lucid, broken feature or never implemented feature??

When we went to dinner last night, the warning triangle came back. If it's just a glitch, a reboot is not clearing it.

Mine has been doing the same thing - I did catch the message which came up when it went on, drive system warning which is only displayed for a short time. It was gone the next day and popped again a week later.
Service told me to bring it in to evaluate. It's sitting there now.

I've had situations where I've gotten the various alerts, and over time, concluded it was likely caused by the area in the windshield where the camera is located almost fogging up a bit. I've found that just turning on the windshield defrost for a little bit got rid of the fog and cleared the warning lights. Worth taking a look if the errors aren't clearing. The LIDAR issue with misting has been discussed on this forum many times.

when I had ICE cars i'd get the annoying Czech Engine light. I used this to fix the problem. Worked on every ICE car I had. Haven't tried it on the Lucid.

When this happened to me, I went into the DreamDrive menu and it showed that the blind spot monitoring was down. I'm guessing it had to do with a blocked sensor. Try looking at that next time to see if one of the options is yellow with the warning next to it.

I’ve had the drive system warning on the car for about a week and a half. I drove to Atlanta and back to MD. Not resets resolved the issue. I had an appointment already for a different issue so took my AGT in on Tuesday. They ran diagnostics; I haven’t been told the exact cause, but they are replacing the entire battery pack. I’m waiting to have an in depth discussion about the issue next week.

Oh, jeez. I've already had the battery pack replaced. I hope the yellow triangle that comes and goes in our car isn't signaling a return of that issue.
