Stock Momentum

Strategy- increases the number and distribution of service centers and you will have sales……duh

The fact that Rawlinson and Winteroff couldn’t understand this blows my mind. Lucid has less than 40 in US, Rivian has almost 100. No wonder they sell more.

And add to that Winteroff goes and cuts service…..I’m speechless he got to the position of COO and interim CEO…….

And their analyst comes out trashing Lucid….it wasn’t as bad he says…and he gives a 3.5 price target….im telling you, these analysts and Wall Street are crooks!

Analysts make recommendations and investing decisions based on the underlying fundamentals of a company and confidence in management to deliver results. They are not infallible but they also don’t make investing decisions based on vibes. Based on the most recent investor call, and subsequent production and delivery numbers, it would be perfectly reasonable for an institutional investor to reassess their position in Lucid and articulate their reasons for doing so. An institutional investor has a responsibility to be rationale and protect their financial interests. There’s nothing inherently crooked about that.

I’m sure it’s not entirely based on fundamentals…..like the price targets they have on TSLA and SPCX

Wall Street made record profits this year- 90 billion, huge bonuses coming for them…they IPO at ridiculous numbers , the higher, the more money for them.

Yes, it’s sort of a racket!

But there’s a rationale being used. Investors can decide if they agree or disagree. But there are certain truisms. Profits and sales matter. And Lucid only has one of those and even those aren’t optimal. Analysts were expecting two things to occur this quarter. Deliveries would hit targets and progress would be made on taking cost out of the business. At least one of those two things didn’t happen. And investors will react accordingly.

Agreed. I don't see Lucid's narrative meaningfully changing until they're delivering 10k+ units per quarter and they achieve a gross profit.

Both are true, Wall Street manipulates and Lucid helped them by digging their own hole.
