My Gravity Grand Touring can no longer play most Spotify music.
Gravity software version 3.6.4
Spotify app version 5.0.2.0
Symptoms:
Steps to reproduce:
I thought it was just a song or two but it got progressively worse over a couple days, or that it was something to do with the cache. I guess it kind of was, since after a factory reset no songs play anymore!
The more I try to get it to play the faster it “gives up” which makes me think maybe it’s a comms issue, like I’m being rate limited at the API level. But obviously I don’t know how to inspect logs.
Anyone else experience this before?

Symptoms:
- On the in-car app, nearly all Spotify music and podcasts play only a split second and are skipped nonstop until playback seems to abort.
- Spotify via CarPlay works fine without skipping.
- Persists through Spotify logout and log in
- Persists through soft reboot, hard reboot, signing out and walking away for an hour, and even factory reset (!!).
- Same behavior via vehicle’s cellular connection or home WiFi.
- At first, it would skip to certain songs that would play, as if they were cached somehow, but finally after a factory reset ALL playback skips.
- It skips a split second after songs start to play
- In the car settings, changing the streaming quality from Automatic to anything else has no effect.
Steps to reproduce:
- Play any media through Spotify.
