This has now happened twice in the past week, and I've only had my car for about a month. Basically, when I get in and the music starts, I really only hear it coming out of the right channel, and even then, it sounds like it's really only coming from one speaker. To make matters worse, I cannot control the volume at all. I turn the volume wheel, and the indicator on screen says it's adjusting, but the sound coming out doesn't change at all. I can change sources and it will play what I ask it to, but just from one speaker and at one volume.

Anybody else experience this? Reboots fix it, but it's wildly inconvenient to have to deal with because I notice it as I start driving, and I'm typically trying to get somewhere by a certain time. I'm still on 2.4.10.

Call service.

Never seen it. Call service. Sounds like hardware.

Thanks. My local SC has a phone message saying they're not in today, so I've called the national service hotline and they're submitting the ticket for this one for me.

Did you hear back from your Local SC? Wondering what they said.

I've had this happen in my car twice last week. Reboot fixes it as well, but same issue - you realize it once you start driving. Mine has happened on both sides - left not working or right not working. I've gotten into the habit of trying to let the car sit for a minute after hitting the brake in the hopes that it gives the car enough time to 'boot' to avoid this issue.

EDIT: I'm on the latest software. Have tried both logo and steering wheel reboots, but the issue reappeared a few days later.

This issue for me has gotten worse after the 2.6.0 update. Seems to be happening more often.

Did you get any feedback from your service center? I called the customer service line and I was on hold for 1 hour, then got a call back 4 hours later when I was busy and the issue wasn't happening anymore. I have to call back again, but it doesn't help to not get through while the issue is happening.

Nope. Like I mentioned, it happened once, they suspected 2.5 would fix it (although I’m sure they were just guessing/hoping), and it did. So I never reached back out to them about it. Sounds like you’ll want to bring your car in for them to evaluate
