With a number of us holding quite a few referral points, the clock ticking on their expiration, and the relative dearth of high-value redemption opportunities, I thought it might be helpful to advance some reward options for consideration. (I suggest that these be done with (item + shipping) redemption conversions done at the current tax rate per point.)

Here are a few that I would like to see…

Offer ALL Lucid Store items on the Referral Store, ranging from inexpensive paint pens all the way up to the Wheel & Tire packages.

Offer a base annual maintenance allowance.

Wherever practical, offer ‘upgrade’ items, such as the new enhanced infotainment system microprocessor.

Speaking of ‘upgrades’... How about initiating and offering software-based performance boosts, wherever practical? As examples, to boost Pure horsepower per motor to more closely match their Touring equivalent, Touring to more closely match Grand Touring, and whatever else makes sense on the higher-end trims.

A points allowance toward the deposit and/or purchase of a new Lucid.

Others??

As the OP, I was kind of surprised at the total face plant that this post experienced, with not one written reply.

As a side note... It's interesting how quickly posts get buried now if no one actually writes a reply. Even those posts that generate a lot of 'symbols' indicating approval or disapproval (this did not) are quickly out of sight and mind. Perhaps symbol responses should be enough to keep posts more prominently displayed.

The referral store is a great idea, but I get the feeling the Lucid doesn't really care about making it robust or effective. The garment sizes are appallingly inconsistent, and there is no sizing guide to help one select the proper size. And with the "no returns, no refunds" policy, you are basically out of luck if you guess wrong. Lucid doesn't seem to care about this.

There is also no active notification that you have earned referral points, no notice that your points expire (maybe they're buried in the massive T&C document, but I couldn't find it), and no warning that your points are about to expire.

Given this, I don't see Lucid doing anything to make the store more attractive.

If it helps... You are certainly right about the clothing sizes. At 6' 2" and 205 pounds, I typically wear an XL shirt. With the Lucid tee and polo shirts, trial and error brought me all the way up to their largest (3X) size, which fits me great. Their zip-up jackets are more rationally sized, such that an XL works for me.

I'm close enough to a studio that I could look at the clothing in person before ordering. The shirts are definitely sized smaller than expected. I'd love it if there were more items to use the points on too. I have a great number of points that I was saving up for the factory tour. Which dropped from 50,000 to 25,000 and then down to 10,000 when I was finally able to grab it. So now, I'm at a loss about what to do with them.

Yes - I am in the same situation. Ideally, I would like to use towards extra set of summer tiers/rims, CCUv2 etc...
I don't want them to expire useless otherwise what's the fun ?

How long do the points last before expiring?

I'm in the same boat, with a little under 50k points and nothing much to do with them.

It seems to me that the program itself is on it's last legs, between the reduced number of referrals allowed, the reduced number of points per referral, and the Gravity not qualifying for referrals. That makes a certain amount of sense to me at this juncture, but it's odd to have so few redemption outlets for those people who have a significant accumulation of points.

Per the program Terms & Conditions, which are posted on the Lucid web site's referrals section... "A Referrer’s points will expire two (2) years after they are issued or earlier if this program is terminated."

I bought my daughter a couple women's medium black Lucid tee-shirts. They fit her skinny ten year-old twin daughters perfectly! :-)

Think I know something we could trade for ;)

That's a nice problem to have...meanwhile I am waiting for someone to use my code so I can get some all weather mats without having to pay for them....ah well, should be patient, I just got the vehicle.
But yeah, their store is woefully basic in terms of what your points could get you. Beyond the all weather mats (and maybe some charging accessories), I doubt I would want anything. But then, I do not care much about branded apparel or other such "lifestyle" stuff.
