I think we should put together a new wishlist for software features for lucid and a list of bugs still continuing to exist. I know there was one a year or 2 back guess what we are in 2025 and so much happened already

I will kick off myself

New Features
Sentry mode

Smart signal - it will turn off once the car
senses that it has made the turn
Smarter hey lucid

More apps are always welcome , why not Netflix at least is an option

Lucid App Store

SDK for developers to make apps

Interactive ambient lighting

More screen control for the backseat like playing music and changing radio channels

More physical accessories

Bugs
doors soft opening is till not reliable

The car animation in Drive Assist if you look closely you will see that the it looks like a bar diecut image and there is tiny white background

App widget breaks after couple of uses or days

Apple Watch app is buggy, it does work most of the time and it only works if the iPhone close by and cannot be used separately

This is what I can think of now :)

The signal currently turns off after you turn, just fyi! Is yours not working?

Here’s my list:
1. Hand’s off self-driving and more expanded self-driving capabilities
2. Ability for the lower pilot screen to show something different from what is at the top screen, including the ability to show CarPlay on the lower screen
3. Ability to customize the choices that are listed vertically on the left of the top screen (for example, I’d like it to include Apple CarPlay)
4. A shorter way to navigate to Sirius favorites
5. When on the top choice for the top screen, it does show favorites, but I would like the ability to pick a favorite and remain on that screen (currently it switches to the “music” choice when selecting a favorite and so it’s then a pain to switch to a different favorite)
6. CarPlay apps using the full screen (this would probably require some work from Apple though)

  1. Netflix or other apps available when in park. Especially for charging on the road.
  2. Hands free self-driving and self-driving on roads other than highways.
  3. Ability to customize seat massage so that you can focus only on back. Not fond of the bottom massage.
  4. Incorporate police reports in Navigation (API's are already available). I'm pretty satisfied with navigation now, but this would enhance it further.
  5. Add apps already available on vehicles with Android Auto. Wouldn't need it then. (I don't like how Carplay/Android auto take over the media)
  6. Enhanced Hey Lucid functionality (while getting better already would like to see more options). Customize voices too.

1. Native Apple Music
2. Better profile switching
3. Auto adjust climate depending which zones have people seated.
4. Battery usage stats.
5. Line assist on city streets.
6. User selection for location of turn signal cameras.

-Favorites option in Navigation (and not only work and home)
-A customizable favorites button on pilot screen, for Example to assign it to massage function
-Have HVAC controls on the home Pilot Screen (maybe instead of the huge car picture)
-The right side of the central cockpit panel to be customizable (for example to show map instead of the huge Air logo)
-Hey Lucid to control more car functions
-To have both battery percentage and range displayed at the same time. Range displayed to be calculated based on true mi/kwh history (and not useless and unrealistic EPA)

1. Improved driver assist - smoother guidance through bends
2. Passenger seat profile
3. Shorter path to SiriusXM, tidal favorites (and I like the customized favorites in the other post)
4. Consistently matching range estimates on all displays and maps (the EPA only in the center kills me) - might need user selectable EPA vs dynamic true est
5. User selectable lower screen (audio or map) when map is on upper screen
6 a few more key voice commands - turn on / off steering wheel heat
7. Clean up bugs, I lost my cameras today 2.6.2 (admittedly more rare now), clean up intermittent app issues such as SiriusXM no favorites, restore recall of prior seat/ wheel heater setting
8. Allow reorder of SiriusXM favorites
9. Option for driver only unlock
10. Smaller or more transparent text message overlay or maybe just let it disappear more quickly
11. Warning indicator detail available somewhere in center display (lidar unavailable etc)
12. Android version of new app (!!)
13. User selectable intensity of the power / Regen graphic on the speedometer.. It's too distracting / visible / dancy for me
14. Scheduled departure that will condition the cabin and battery

You iOS people are funny. I vote for:
Some way to have reliable navigation while in the car - Android Auto or native Google Maps
WearOS watch app - anything at all
Android mobile app updates in the same year as the iOS app updates.

The EX90 has this. There are options for just lumbar or just shoulders. It's great and rivals the massage function of the Air.

BUGS
Intermittent loss of SiriusXM connectivity requiring Air reboot
Unreliable phone charging pad
Oversensitive invocation of parking assist in stop-and-go traffic

FEATURES
Ordering of albums in Tidal app to match account, or custom ordering from within Tidal app
Continuity of playback in Tidal between driving sessions (i.e. pick up an album where you left off)
Navigation favorites

SOMETHING IN BETWEEN
Poor interaction between voice commands and apps (navigation, infotainment)

Currently the drive assist animation shows the vehicles in front and to the side of the lucid. Be nice to also display vehicles behind.

This is a terrific idea - an organized way to try to get Lucid management attention on a focused list of bugs and future features from current owners/users.
I tad hard to pick and choose which items from prior posts to "support" in a message board.
It would be AMAZING if Lucid set up a place to do this AND provide visibility to each item's status (Reviewing, "On the potential DO THIS list", "Deferred (nice way to ay no)", In the dev cycle plan)

My list:
  1. Graceful recovery from ALL fail states. There is no excuse for making us reboot, turn the car off (which it does on its own so...?) This should be true EVERYWHERE - Some of my Examples:
    1. Surround camera "turn car off an on" error
    2. LIDAR down because a drop of rain or snow is on the sensor.
    3. Highway assist/Adaptive cruise unavailable
    4. Sirius XM dies - won't recover until car off or a reboot - after "not authenticated", "internet connection lost"
  2. Fix linked mobile keys - must be consistent/predictable/reliable.
    1. (There are dozens of posts here that prove it's not consistent. "Yours" might be. Not the point!)
    2. I get everything from "unlocks when I get 20 feet away" to "unlocks when I am a foot way" to "won't unlock until I unlock my phone" to "won't unlock until I push a door handle." I have found no consistent "this works" or "this doesn't work. I keep the Lucid App open on my phone, etc.
    3. There needs to be ONE way to set your phone up that always works. The App should check that it is fully enabled/tell you what to fix. Right now, all it does is tell you to keep the app open...
  3. Dream drive/Highway assist:
    1. Smooth out curve handling. Right now it corrects for the curve radius in very noticeable steering corrections. Make these MUCH smaller - unnoticeable.
    2. Improve tracking - no jerking the wheel - when construction zones/lane markers converge.
    3. Make the Dream Drive display the/a selectable default - even when not active. That display is a lot more useful than the "not" display.
  4. Dump Hey Lucid - or make it competitive. My wife's Volvo S60 Recharge uses the Google environment - does everything I will list and gracefully links to her online metadata/browser links/maps.
    1. This needs a speech model that is competitive with any of the home assistants out now. Sound like a human; respond to anything without dumping "this client can't..." messages.
    2. Be able to change any setting in the vehicle - without making you learn a new language.
    3. Be able to respond to any vehicle question. "What's my range?", "Tell me about alerts?"
    4. If not adopting a more functional voice assistant, provide a link to home automation. Could be via installing the app for "your" home assistant (Alexa/Google Home) or could be native.
  5. Nav
    1. Smarter / clearer re-routing. Either model after Waze or just use Waze.
    2. Having two persistent favorites is way inadequate. No way to add any?
    3. Show current map scale somewhere. There's no way to get a sense of what "an inch" on the display equals in miles.
    4. Provide a way to keep the lower display "north up" vs spinning when you stretch it.
    5. Put a real compass heading or compass rose for current direction on the upper display.
  6. Displays
    1. Be able to have one function on upper displays and a different one on the upper.
    2. Battery % is basically a useless metric when driving. Consistently show range available based on recent performance.
    3. Be able to stay on the home screen after changing an audio source. Right now it flips to Audio then I have to go back to see Home.
    4. Provide a much better way to track Miles/Kwh - list of dates/drives/distances. This is supposed to be the most efficient production car - give us a way to know that.
    5. Add customizations to a Profile.
      1. Startup Drive Mode
      2. Startup Displays

That's a great list. Considerable owner-polling work has been done on this in the past:

I would love to see your #2 implemented!! It’s such a waste right now in having two touch screens.

Probably will never happen, but I would love to have dashcam and “Sentry” mode. Cameras are already in the car.

And more native apps. Audible is at the top of my list.

Oh, and why is Easy Entry NOT customizable? That’s silly

What we should do is list about 10 of the items from this thread and then create a poll. We could then share it with Lucid.

I'd like to see automatic locking changed, or at least having the car give us options, so it happens after it reaches a reasonable speed like any other car I've ever had with the feature. If I back out of my garage to let passengers in, I shouldn't have to manually unlock the car. The whole point of automatic is so I don't have to do things manually.

How about Summon feature and ability to get out of car and have car park into a tight space? Loved that in a Tesla.

Talking about future- have an ai executive assistant who would greet you, tell you about traffic to work, what's on your calender for the day, remind you of birthdays, what the headlines are, etc - anything you want to program it for - maybe this is where SoundHound ai is going? Something unique and in front of trend.

Finally - entertaining things. Might have laughed at the Santa on auto pilot, but little things like that made me think Tesla cared about making me smile. That and car karaoke, arcade games, etc....
