Sneak Peek of Lucid's DECLARATION OF PERFORMANCE - America 250 Campaign

And still I get:

Them: “Wow! Your car is beautiful. What is it?”

Me: “A Lucid Air”

Them: “Who makes it?

Me: “Lucid. They’re made in Arizona by a company named Lucid, the model is an Air. They also make an SUV called Gravity.”

Them: “Hmm, never heard of ‘em. Looks nice though.”

Four times in the last month traveling through MA, CT and NY!

Here’s a Marketing 101 question: How do you sell something for >$70,000 that no one knows about?

Little by little, one by one. Even word of mouth or just letting people take a look can be a powerful thing. During car events I'd look around the Lucid booth and see a very similar pattern of reactions. Someone would walk up, take a look, open the door, then sit inside. A brief pause, then the moment of realization for all the space and storage followed by a "...Wow."

Then non-stop raving about the space and storage capacity.

Very common reaction I have also received. “Who makes this?….where?” “It has how much HP!?”
I think with time brand awareness will improve and in turn sales. Let’s just hope service ramps accordingly 🤞

I agree Lucid did a great job with this marketing video and while I am not highly sensitive to the patriotic messaging of "Made in America," I still see it as a positive that ought to be touted. I've taken my Air to Cars and Coffee events, filled with "car guys" (and gals), and not a single person ever heard of Lucid. This was in a very wealthy area too, so there were AMGs, McLaren, Ferrari, all kinds of 911s, etc at this event, on top of tons of classic cars. One guy asked me if my car was Italian because he thought it said Lucio. I am happy to show people the car and explain the power, space, and range, which impresses them, but I always make sure to tell them it's made in America. That seems to be the real emotional hook that gets them thinking. More than one person said I ought to be the chief marketing officer for Lucid. The Made in America thing is low hanging fruit they should take more advantage of, IMO.

Many times since getting this vehicle and joining these forums I’ve read through other posts and thought “this company should consider recruiting from this population!”

We’re passionate, we know the vehicles and the brand and some of us have free time and niche experience to contribute.

Would be cool

Very cool! This morning's email from Lucid Motors:

I think it's super smart to have the studios act as meet-up points for future and current Lucid Owners.

I guess they wanna avoid any potential backlash with someone saying "made in America... with Saudi petrodollars"

I definitely still get these reactions constantly. I also get parked in front of my favorite three Michelin Star restaurant consistently. So I know it's dead sexy...

The Grok image is terrible and looks like it was made with zero love and attention. Shakes head…
