After owning my 2025 AP RWD car for just over a year, I had my first experience with Lucid service. In addition to the half-shaft recall, I needed my one year service done. The Coldwater, MI location was assigned to me and Jason contacted me about setting up the work. Jason told me given my distance to Coldwater (I'm in Indy, 3 hours away), they would bring me a loaner and take my car to MI. He set a date that was about a month away, and they were very upfront about the wait times. Friday was my pickup date and they set the time as 1 PM. The trailer showed up at 12:55 PM. He unloaded the loaner and drove my car into the trailer. I received a 2025 AT for my loaner. He told me it might be a couple of weeks due to their backlog, but it doesn't matter much to me given I have a great car to drive in the meantime. Quick and easy exchange.

I obviously don't have my car back from service, and can't comment upon that aspect of the service experience. But I was impressed with the transparency and professionalism of the Coldwater staff. I know that not everyone has this experience, but I'm really pleased with it, and if I knew all my interactions would be like that, I wouldn't worry ever again about being distant from a service center!

I've had a similar experience with Coldwater and Jason and the mobile tech Nate. Two visits via Nate and both issues were resolved quickly. It does take quite a bit of time to schedule a visit, but once the date arrives both Jason and Nate are very professional and thorough. Kudos to both!

So, they’ve had my car 3 weeks now for the recall and one year service. No problem with that - I’ve got a loaner, and they’ve updated me that things are running slow. But I opened my mobile app for kicks and looked at my car location. Now it’s about 1.5 miles from the Lucid site at the Coldwater Belle Tire. Seemed pretty weird, but wonder if Lucid sends tire rotation or something out to local tire shops? Anyone have an idea?

I live in Louisville Kentucky and also had my air pure recall service done at Coldwater. Jason was great to deal with. Had to wait about three weeks for my car to be picked up by flatbed and taken to Coldwater. Unfortunately, they did not offer me a loaner and never have in the two or three times that they’ve towed it to Michigan. They do get me a rental car from enterprise. Turnaround time on the recall was very quick and I got my car back one week later.

Jason called me back today on my car - said the reason it was there so long was that the recall work on the half shaft showed the bolts were loose and they had to go ahead and replace the RDU as well. He said it was the first half shaft recall at Coldwater where the bolts were actually loose. Given the other catastrophic failures I've read about with the bolts, I hopefully dodged a bullet - I had driven 15,000 miles without any noticeable issues from the loose bolts.
