I have an opportunity to lease on the latest deal of $699 per month and am ready to pull the trigger. I love everything about the car. Coming from a Panamera and a pick-up. I'm 6' 7" and the car seems to fit me well. But I would love to hear from some base model owners ASAP. Should I do it?

Are there any options as part of the car? Personally I'd get one of the leather seating packages, this also gives you the 2nd row foldout trays. The dynamic handling package is also worth it I think, this gives you rear wheel steering and the triple air suspension (not sure but this option may be needed to adjust the ride height which is nice). If you want the smoothest ride and best efficiency then get the 20"/21" wheels. We got the 7 seat version because we wanted to be able to hold more folks. The 3rd row seats are reasonably spacious and will handle adults (not sure about someone who is 6' 7" though). We don't have the technology package or the dream drive 2 pro so can't comment on that.
My only suggestion would be to get the leather, as the Pureluxe tears too easily.

The only real difference between touring and grand touring is the battery size and the range associated with it. If the touring version works for you, then go for it!!!! I love my Gravity!

It's safe to say that engineering excellence is what attracted a lot of the people on this forum to Lucid. And if you find the quality of their engineering appealing, then it's natural to want all the extras (such as the previously mentioned dynamic handling package). And so you're going to find a lot of comments here extolling the virtues of those options. But while the members here do skew towards vehicle configurations with lots of options added on, we've had happy reports from owners without them. The Touring trim does have less range, but it still has good range and charging. The way most people drive, you're never going to notice a lack of range in day-to-day driving. It'll only be apparent on road trips, or if your circumstance doesn't allow for charging at home, and you want to minimize how frequently you need to visit a charging station. And apart from the smaller battery, it has all of the fantastic driving dynamics, comfort, and interior space of the Grand Touring. If you loved it on the test drive, you're going to love driving it when you own it.
Elsewhere in the forum you'll see plenty of commentary about the current state of Lucid's service operation. They're clearly behind on staffing that properly, but we also know that new leadership is paying attention to the problem. Personally, I wouldn't let the service woes dissuade me from purchasing.
All in all, $699/month seems like a pretty attractive price. Sure, you'll be missing out on some bells and whistles, but they'd also jack up the monthly payment quite a bit.
I'd at least look into the cost for adding the dynamic handling package- helps with parking and hugs curves oh so nicely

I think at least make sure you get the 360 surround camera DreamDrive Option.
It depends on what's important to you. The base Touring doesn't have the power outlets, power shades for the back, tray tables, rear-wheel steering, 360 view for parking, hands free driving, and I believe the cabin isn't as quiet

If getting a Touring I would opt for comfort and convenience package over dynamic handling. You still had an adjustable suspension on base model (just not as much height range) and the C&C package gives you the rear heated seats, rear seat Sun shades, and ultra quiet cabin. It’s more value imo than DHP. I would also consider SSP - it’s a major upgrade. Also have to recommend the luxury seating with massage and tray tables. Huge for road trips.
I also would push back on those saying you have to get leather. We have had Yosemite Purluxe for a year now. It’s wearing really well. No issues or defects. We have a 10 and 5yr old kid and a dog, and they are pretty well behaved, so YMMV depending on how rough you may treat it. For us, so far so good. And you’re leasing so Lucid will fix any issues under warranty.

How much down at that price, by the way? Anything less than the $6,199 they're quoting online? That's more than I'm willing to put down by about double.
I haven't found that to be true at all. I've already had my driver's seat replaced under warranty, as it was tearing by 11k miles, with nothing happening but me getting into and out of the car, and NY 20k miles the new seat is tearing as well.
And I assure you there's nothing sharp in the small of my back or side.

Actually there are more differences. For instance the Gravity Touring does not come with the homelink module (though you can get the home link module installed at a service center or perhaps by a mobile tech). There may be other differences too.

Yikes. Is yours the base mojave Purluxe or premium?
I’d get the base Touring over any other large SUV in an heartbeat. The extras are nice but in terms of driving this car is top notch.
Maybe one related Q (sorry to hijack). Anyone else have Mojave purluxe premium? Do your door arm rests come with that rough fabric instead of leather as well?

Yes, the fabric is on the door arm wrest but I do not find it noticeably rough in practice. I could have went for the leather but got Yosemite Purluxe Premium because I wanted a lighter color.
I'm in an Air with the base 12-way (heated only) seats. I wasn't aware there were different 'grades' of the Pureluxe itself.

Despite what others may say, don't get one w/o the DHP...the rear wheel steering makes parking and driving curvy roads much nicer!!
And... opt for at least DDPrem: the blind spot cameras are important for safety and the surround cameras make parking WAY easier (and less likely to incur vehicle damage!)
Personally, I skipped the Tech pkg: hated the distracting windshield reflection and don't think I miss having an HUD due to the nice positioning of the Cockpit panel display.
Comfort/conv pkg is now standard on 2027 GGTs, not sure on GT
Also, I have Mojave Purluxe Prem - yes the armrests are rough but I got used to it
No tears yet but mine's a short term lease; had I purchased the Lunar Titanium GGT I originally ordered I'd have gotten the Ojai Leather for durability

We have the Yosemite purluxe too. No issues with it, and I hear it makes the seats feel softer than the leather. Plus it looks so good
