Service Unresponsive

Got a cracked windshield and the crack is getting longer by the day. Service is completely unresponsive to multiple attempts via multiple channels...phone, sms, multiple emails, voice mails, the phone just connects to VM and can't speak to a real person. Extremely frustrating...not seen it this bad the last 3 years I had the car ... Things should be improving with time..this isn't that...very frustrating
Now that could be something they could outsource to someone like Safelite. Not like they don’t know how to recalibrate cars with cameras in the windshield.

This was quite literally what I said to myself under my breath after my 20th attempt of reaching out to them. Unfortunately I think the crack is now so long that it's beyond Safelite. The more I own the car, the less I think I can recommend the brand..which is so sad to me cos I am a shareholder and used to be so so bullish on Lucid. Truly sad...and I know the CEO will get hammered by so many issues that any noticeable improvement will take months...and heaven only know what the SC experience will be once the mass market Cosmos is released...they should be growing in muscle not stepping or scaling back the experience....right now I can sum my Lucid brand experience up as... "compromise a lot and shut up"...truly disheartening and sad..

Here is the reality:

> Lucid's service is overwhelmed. They need to get back on their feet ASAP. Otherwise, it will become the rate-limited step for Lucid to scale.
> The issue herein is not the incompetency of the Service Centers per se. Many of the Lucid Service Centers also have a hand in preparing new vehicles for delivery.
The Service Centers need to aggressively outsource the tasks that really don't need to be done by Lucid resources. Examples include tire rotation, tire repairs, body shop repairs, glass repairs, and more.

Someone at Lucid's senior management needs to establish a framework to offload unnecessary tasks, allowing the SCs to focus on fixing problems, performing regular maintenance, and preparing new cars for delivery. That's where the Bang-for-the-buck is!

To my understanding, Lucid's SCs don't do body shop stuff. That's probably the correct choice. Make sure they communicate that clearly to the customers.

I was thinking something similar. Maybe the service capacity issue can only be improved by certifying independent shops. I’m sure the company hates that idea from a revenue and liability perspective, but repairs need to get done.
