Securities Lending

Fidelity (their program is called Fidelity Fully Paid Lending Program BTW) is still lending my shares as of 5/31. The most recent borrow rate for my shares was 17.5%!
Thanks for that. I'll call my guy first thing Monday!

How do you lend the shares? I only have cash accounts
here is text of Fidelity email I received when I first signed up:

Congratulations, your enrollment in Fidelity's Fully Paid Lending Program is complete.

Thank you for enrolling in Fidelity's Fully Paid Lending Program, where you can earn monthly income by lending securities that are in demand in the securities lending market.

We're happy to let you know that your enrollment is complete.

Here are a few important things to consider:
  • Shares on loan, current rates, market values, and collateral can now be viewed on your Positions page at Fidelity.com.
  • Lending income will accrue daily and be posted to your account monthly. You'll receive a separate lending statement, which will also be available under the "Account Records."
  • All eligible securities in your account (now and in the future) will be considered for borrowing based on demand in the lending market. Enrollment does not guarantee that any securities will be borrowed.
  • It is important that you notify Fidelity by emailing [email protected] if there are any particular holdings (e.g., your company stock) that are not eligible for loan or that you would otherwise like to exclude from lending.
Once again, welcome to the program. We look forward to working together.
