Must be the "official" opening as they just published an article about the SD and SJ service centers being newly opened.

Great event they had today. It was nice to meet some Lucid folks, owners and other future owners like us.

Great event! So many Lucids that we didn't even all fit in the service center parking lot. And it's a big lot. Whoever took pictures, post some.

Amazing event as usual, this was by far the largest Lucid gathering I’ve ever attended.
It was very nice seeing everyone and making new friends.
Thanks to all the organizers and everyone who worked hard to make our local San Diego service center happen.
Congratulations to the San Diego Lucid team!

Why?

Why?

Because the Mechanicsville service center(sc), which serves as a satellite sc for the Tysons Corner sc isn't quite as swanky as the new San Diego sc.
It's been in existence since '21.
I'm told Lucid is still assessing customer demand in areas south of the Tysons sc.

Not about me.
I just believe the service techs deserve better digs.

The event looks awesome. I had planned to attend but an urgent eye surgery left me recuperating with vision not quite well enough to drive. I suppose I could have tried anyway since the destination was a service center . I do have an appointment at the SD SC in two weeks. Costa Mesa is just too busy

Looks like the latest of the concept cars X and Magma I suppose.
