They have to be the cheapest pieces on the car. Popped right off after a car wash and lost it somewhere in the machine. The good news is the service center said I can come by anytime for them to pop a new one in. They definitely didn’t engineer that piece like the rest of the car.

Reviving an old post. This just happened to mine. Did Lucid charge you for it?

They didn’t. They were very nice about it but they told me not to take it through a touch wash which is a little annoying considering this isn’t a sport la or exotic car. When this happened months ago, the guy at Service also told me that Lucid doesn’t separately manufacture those pieces, they come with the whole bar that they’re set into that runs from the front of the front windshield all the way to the rear of the car.

He just happened to have an extra one in the shop that was cannibalized from I guess another bar from another car that had come off or been damaged.

He took care of me that time, but I wouldn’t wanna have to replace it again.

I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often.
