Given that Lucid doesn't have its own roof box, here is the next best thing. We also chose the Lucid Crossbars which look very clean and integrated compared some of the standard roof mount stuff.

We selected the Thule Motion 3 XL roof box which provides 18 Cu ft. of storage. Looks decent, it's quite practical with quick connectors (no tools) and can be opened on either side. Range will obviously take a small hit with the crossbars and a bigger one with the roof box but it's the only option besides having a trailer hitch. Noise level increases as well but less than expected...

Overall very happy :)

Very nice. Did you mount the Lucid crossbars yourself? I asked Lucid Service when I was at the shop and they said I should have service install them. I told them that was not practical as I only install roof racks on my sedan on those rare occasions when I need them. I'm not driving 30 min to the service center every time I want to put on or take off the roof racks.

If you have a glass roof, you should have service install them.

If you have a metal roof, I’d say you’re fine doing it yourself.

If you do want to do it yourself, just have Lucid service show you how to properly do it the first time.

The service center installed this due to the glass roof. That said, I would feel comfortable taking it off and then reinstalling them
