I've had my Air Touring for just over 3 months.
Been mostly doing local drives to work and a few local spots. Farthest being round trips from South SF Bay up to SF city itself which is only total around 90miles round trip.

Took my first road trip from South SF Bay area up to Truckee/Tahoe area this weekend for final summer hurrah before back to school for the kids.
Been an EV driver for over 6 years now and am familiar with road tripping these cars. I've done the same trip many times in the past with an Audi Etron(now Q8Etron) and BMW iX.

It was a pleasant experience and it went without a hitch(except for charging complaint).
Total miles driven was 610miles over 4 days. 440miles was the drive from the Bay to Truckee itself and back and the rest is driving around the area.

Efficiency: Got 3.99mi/kwh driving at 70mph highway driving up and down 6000ft elevation up Donner pass to Truckee and driving up and down from Truckee and Lake Tahoe region a few times. I have the 19in non-Aero wheels(Aeronaut)-sorry but I hate wheel covers. Super amazing efficiency.
My prior BMW iX which was a super efficient for being an SUV, got 3.1mi/kwh for a similar driving.

Driving and Comfort: On Smooth ,it was a very comfortable ride. Not as plush as the iX which had plushier seats and air suspension but can't beat the much better handling and feel of the Air. Seat ventilation is nice and AC kept us cool at 96-98F temps. Didn't have the massage function but I've never like to use them anyways. Suspension and steering were a tad firmer than the iX but I prefer it.

GPS/Nav/Audio: Decided to try the built in GPS. It navigates pretty well. Bypasses traffic jams and matched well with Apple Maps. I'm not sure if the system preconditioned the battery when I input an Electrify America Charging station-see charging below. No issues with the audio. Got Sirium XM when we decided to listen to music and no issues streaming audiobooks via CarPlay. SiriusXM worked really well-it buffers enough so there was rarely any skipping or stopping except when we entered wilderness areas.
DreamDrive cruise control worked well but doesn't respond terribly fast with sudden speed changes. Have to keep on your toes.
The Driver monitoring bug turning and on and off was annoying but not terrible.

Space: The amount of space in the the Frunk and Trunk/underfloor space is amazing. I think we loaded a decent amount of stuff in for 2 boys, myself and the wife including 2 inflatable stand up paddle boards, portable battery stations and still had ample leftover space.

Charging: I charged up to 100% before leaving. Made it to first charging stop around 140miles, so still pretty full at around 63%. We often stop here for a top up before climbing Donner pass.
Came to an EA site with no wait. It was a 350kw load balancing site, so wasn't expecting the fastest charging since the other stall was occupied. Initiating charge was so much better than when I first had the Audi Etron which took so much longer for the app to start the process and the handshake sometimes took 45-60s just to start. However, when it started, it only charged at 80-100kw. Was originally planning to get it up to 80% and move the car but with it charging so slowly, I set it at 100% and we decided to just leave the car and walk down to grab lunch. Came back after an hour and it was sitting around 92%. I charged it 2 more times at Truckee at EA stalls they both only gave me a max of 100kw. The Air said charge was limited by station but on the last charge stop, there was no other cars at the station at all. Not that big deal since those EA station sites were located at places where I was stopping to run errands anyway but would've been annoying if I was in a rush.
I've only ever DCFC at one other station, an EVGo station just to make sure it was working and also got a max of 120kw.
So I'm not sure if this is an EA thing or something is wrong with the Air. Insights?

Anyway, besides the annoyance of charging, I'm very impressed with the efficiency, GPS/audi and comfort of the Air. I've been lucky so far and have not had any major bugs with the system. Good car.

You should poke around on this site (or the Internet/chat bot to find a good graphic of the charging curve for the Air; this will help you set your expectations. A key takeaway is that 150 kW chargers are not actually that much slower overall in charging from 20 to 80, compared to 350 kW chargers— the faster speeds only last up to maybe 40% of battery capacity.

Your experience lines up pretty well with what I’ve seen and what the charging curve suggests. The very fast charging happens only at low battery levels—and the famously touted “200 miles in XX minutes“ (varies by model ) is for getting 200 miles of range starting with your battery at 0, so for us Touring drivers that would be going from zero to about 50%.

Charging speeds tend to drop below 200 at around 20% battery, to below 150kW at around 40-45%, and slip below 100 somewhere between 60 and 75%. Pushing past 80% will always go slowly; the batteries limit the energy flow to keep them from overheating. By 85% capacity you won’t get any more than 50 kW, and pushing past that will continue to decrease the flow. One time when I pushed it, I was getting 22 kW at 95%, and 15 kW as I got to 97%.

Rule of thumb: it takes as long to charge from 80 to 100 as it does to charge from 20 to 80. So that’s worth doing when you’re plugged in overnight (even conceivably on 110, getting about 1 kW per hour)— but takes some patience at a charging station.

(I found it didn’t take SO much patience to push it to 85 or 90%… I did that a couple times late at night in a Walmart parking lot when I was taking time to top it off for the next day—but once it got past 95 I threw in the towel based on the numbers you see above!)

Sadly I didn't realize the charging curve was so...meh.
People complained about the 1st gen Audi E-tron's crappy efficiency(2.6miles/kwh was my average) but because the battery chemistry was so nickel heavy, it had a super flat charging curve that charged from 150kw was 10% all the way 90%.
