Resolved - My Friend's Lucid Air Pure is Missing Soft Closed Door

My friend's lucid doors do not soft close and are required to slam. What is going on?

The Pure does not have soft-close doors.

I share your disappointment. Having previously owned Saab and BMW cars, I came to expect a car of this caliber to have doors that produce that pleasant "thump" when doors are closed. Instead, the door has to be slammed like my father's 1960's Pontiac. I asked repair tech about it and he just offered a blank stare.
