Removing inserts on Voyageur wheels

I recently got the Winter Wheel and Tire package for the Gravity available through the vehicle accessories section of Lucidmotors.com. They come with “Voyageur” wheels with each wheel having 5 plastic inserts. Has anyone tried to remove these and if so, let us know how you did it.

…and it’s the inserts I’m wanting to remove, not the tires.

20/21 wheels have screws holding the inserts from the back so you need to take them off to get there. 21/22 they pop out from the outside.

For the 20/21, I asked the SC to remove them for me

The two screw holes in the 20/21's can be seen in the rim spoke at the ten o'clock position in this showroom demo pic. Removing the wheels to access these is required
The 21/22's have a one piece aero blade that pops off

Interestingly my wheels (which I bought specifically for winter tires) came with the inserts separate and no screws, so I put them in just using the clips. They are kind of ugly but I figured range in the winter is worth it.

Not easily the clips are on the backs of the inserts. So I’d have to take one of of a wheel

This is certainly a welcome upgrade from the Air. My AGT has the 20" wheels and those inserts start to come loose every couple hundred miles.
