Lucid Air Grand Touring
Hi All,

I am currently in the process of soundproofing and modding my Air and have removed the entire interior and wheel wells, but am stuck on the dash. and the rear seat backrests. Has anyone removed them yet, and would it be possible to let me know how? I'm specifically trying to remove just the top layer of the dash to hide some wires, and the rear seats to have an easy time soundproofing. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I usually pull up used parts on eBay to see what the attachments points look like if there is one already removed and kinda go from there.

Wow - this is one of the quietest cars in existence aside from the front motor whine - is yours so loud that it needs all of this? Seems like something is wrong if so.

Yep that’s how I did the rest of the interior, but there are no pictures of the top layer of the dash.

No it’s more for the sound system I’m installing, but also it can definitely be quieter. The gravity is 2db quieter, and that’s without any sound deadening on the floor and wheel wells.

You should check if the seat bolts are reusable or if they are stretch bolts. You might need to replace them.
You that’s a good point that someone might miss.

Oh I never new cars use those on the interior. Luckily Lucid doesn’t so I should be good.

Are you sure? It would look the same I think. Might ask service.
According to Google ai they don’t, and it makes sense because why would any company make a (somewhat) commonly removed item one time use. It makes sense for the engine and all of course but not for the interior. You know as well as I Lucid service will never help lol. No one picks up the phone or replies to emails 😔

I know BMW does for seats, but idk anybody else for certain.

What deadening are you using?
